Hi folks,

I am in the process of learning about electric flight. I came across a helpful chart that lists the weight of LiPos according to capacity, discharge, cells and configuration (see https://rcsearch.info/live/blog/123.html).

I've imported the chart into Google Sheets so it can be filtered and sorted by any of the criteria. For example, you could choose to see:

All 6S batteries
All batteries over 3000 mAh
All batteries by order of weight
... or any such combination

I've recommended this guys site so many times, I should get revenue by now. Lol It's a really complete how-to.

For batteries, this guy on RC Groups tests batteries. A lot of batteries. He has an absolute hatred for Thunder Power, and how overpriced they are, with a short life span, and mediocre performance.

These batteries seem to be a good choice. New kid on the block, but the prices seem ok, even with coming from LAX.
