Yes, but I was in the grocery store today - while I was in line to pay, I saw the small bags of chips (singles) with a $1.98 price tag.

Iím only 50 but I remember buying a bag of hostess chips for $0.25 as a kid in the 70ís. 😁

Re: 1/2 A kits

I have a flying 1/2A lil Whizard. Would be easy to make a bunch up from stock balsa.

I am tempted to try the Brodak 1/2A Pathfinder.

Iím putting two Corehouse lilí Hackers together next. Foam wing and plywood box fuselage.

Then the Baby Nobler for a nice Medallian 049 I have in the parts box.

Re: 1/2 A kits

Ye haftae PM him. That is what I did.
"I have a small hobby shop called The Balsa Dust Factory. It's located in the back of my hangar at the Lacombe Regional Airport, in Lacombe, AB. Of note, I believe I am the only hobby shop in Canada actually stocking and selling primarily C/L. I am a dealer for Sig, Brodak, RSM, Vintage Performance Model Airplanes (VPMA), as well as Dubro, Sullivan, Perfect, Enya, etc. If you are on Facebook, look the shop up. I don't have a website, but feel free to call 403-896-7175 with any questions. Now, about 1/2A, I've had an incredible run on 1/2A stuff the last month or so, but I still have a Brodak CG Little Toot kit, a Sig Berkeley Mini- Zilch, a Brodak .049 MKII, handles, lines(including .00, bellcranks, etc. I will be restocking more kits for the fall, but can order more at any time. I place orders almost weekly. Call me with you needs. I look forward to hearing from you."
Cheers for now,
Jon

Ya that's insane!

My first Lil Wizard I bought from Leisure World or it may have been Keith's Hobbies was about $8 in 1972.

Best to trace out the pieces so you can make your own!

Hay and if you do indoors maybe a 2x size one made out of blue foam!

Re: 1/2 A kits

I remember buying two new Cox PW.02’s and a TD .051 for about $19 and $25 respectively as well. From Skycraft when they were still in Dundas. Along with a couple of Ace Whizard kits.

That was about 38 years ago... lol. I bet a tube of cement and a pint of dope cost a bit more as well.

Then again. I remember buying one standard Futaba or Airtronics servo for $50 or $60 each...

Now the same quality Hitec is about $12
