Looking for some advice on Crawlers

Ok I am looking for some help from people in the know on crawlers. I have recently stepped away from drift cars and been bashing for a while and have been infatuated with crawlers, but I cannot decide on what kit to build. Been watching and reading on good reliable rigs and have kind of narrowed the choice to either an SCX 10 ii or the TRX 4 not the eye ones but the builder kits. I enjoy upgrading so there must be a large choice of parts not just wheels...... Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note I do have a Sakura D4 I am thinking of parting with as a trade which hasn't been used in 2 years now

Which one is more scale really as that is what I like to build the most, my Sakura is replica of my old genesis coupe, want to make it as scale as possible.

Ok I have acquired and scx10 ii builders kit and have a question on grease. Want to protect the diff and bearings as it will be used in and around water and snow and have been researching different greases people use. Majority say they use marine grease various brands etc but I was curious about PTFE infused grease. We use this stuff from accrolube (aviation) for all our tooling gears and bearings on aircraft would this be a good alt as it has the PTFE which will help with lubrication of the metal gears.

Re: Looking for some advice on Crawlers

Should take a look at the TFL Racing Bronco . really nice scale crawler, no plastic at all on this truck , I am detailing one now . Also the RC4WD Toyota is a great machine .

I just bought a pretty much all metal, scx10ii built truck. I can't wait to test it. It is solid and has some good Weight to it.
