SO finally the CNC is in the shape to make something

Love Trucks , owning a RC scaled one has always been a dream.

This is the first ever 3D model i made. New to fusion 360 as well. So took a lot of time and i learnt a lot. Being a little weak on the arts side modeling is difficult for me. The model made is while keeping in mind that i have to machine it as well. So the little details even which could have been easily included were ignored. The very prominent is, this cabin is fixed with the front and bumpers etc ...

Biggest issue in copying was that i had no blue-print and of course, Amateur skills Next will be readying the cabin/ sanding painting and after that will start working on the electronics and mechanics. Finishing and stuff like that will be done in the end.

Please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas

Holy cow! If this is your first 3D model, I am very impressed. It looks great.

You mention machining via CNC- May I ask why CNC machining? I would suggest a 3D printed body would be easer to make. Today's 3D printers would produce the exact same part with little effort.

Thanks, yes its the first ever model i made. My 3D model skills are now even more improved but CNC has its limitation when it comes to machine a 3D object.

You are absolute right that a 3D print would have helped by tons not just to make model, but to copy the details even better also. Unfortunately i dont have a 3D printer though its in my wish list to add a printer head to my cnc machine.

Currently i am bit stuck as i made the parts in batches and did some changes to the cabin as well by sanding so when later on i design something it doesnt fit perfect.
Also any idea how can i make Scania name and logo for it ? My current limitation is i dont have a flute small enough (diameter wise) to make the logo and scania Name for the cabin front.
