Portable Work stand

Princess Auto has their portable folding work stand on sale for $35 in their January, 2 week sale flyer , page 18. . Adjustable height and as stable as all get out.
I was introduced to one by a couple of Calgary flyers about 6 or so years ago and bought one when I got home from the fun fly and never regretted it . Probably one of the most used item in my tool inventory . When I need a table , I just use a small sheet of plywood on top . Light and takes up very little room.

Re: Portable Work stand

The guys at our local jet club all use these stands. Usually a couple of them for their giant scale jets. Looks like a good purchase!

Re: Portable Work stand

I’ve still got 6 very similar to them that I used in my Autobody days. They have had complete door assemblies on them, complete truck bed assemblies (used two), and many many other heavy components and have never failed.

Around home they double as a great work table with a wooden door laid across them. Very versatile and useful.

Re: Portable Work stand

Thanks for sharing, i'm heading at my local store to pickup an aluminum case for my 16SZ. I might end up picking one of those up also.

Their brand name, Power Fist make me laugh everytime i see it as its so unrelated to the product. Reminds me of the brand names Harbour Freight puts on their made in china hardware to make it look like they are built in north america, for example Chicago Electric or Chicago Pneumatic, the only american these have in them is the word printed on the label...lol

Re: Portable Work stand

Yup , just a branding . Mine didn’t have Anything on it . A pretty simple setup . If a person had a pipe bender and pipe shrinker, they could make their own but for the price hardly worth it . Nice thing with these is they can be taken down into a smaller package if necessary .
