I have a buddy looking for this size of turbine. Kingtech website shows no availability. What other other alternatives are there out there for this size?
Looking for about 10lb thrust or just slightly higher but the small size of the 45 is ideal.

Re: Kintech 45 or similar

Might be hard to get as well due to high demand, but can't go wrong with a Xicoy X45.

Re: Kintech 45 or similar

Thanks for the link Stegl. So Kingtech, Xicoy. Are there any others in that size range? I checked Swiwin but looks like their smallest is a 60

Re: Kintech 45 or similar

There's Kolibri-Lambert, but they are pretty pricey and I've also heard that their customer service is lacking where it takes months to get an engine serviced.

Re: Kintech 45 or similar

Turbine solutions have good service but the 45i is a fair bit heavier than the Xicoy which is the lightest of the bunch . The Wren is a bit older design but all upgraded electronics so guessing that is why it’s heavier. For my buck , the downside with KingTech is they have you under the table with forcing you to buy their oil in order to keep their warrantee in effect and it’s not cheap, but service us supposed to be good. I have 3 Jets Munt turbines and happy with them (70, 80 and 100) ; also made in Spain , as is Xicoy .

Gotta sometimes look the “big picture” rather than just the price alone . Jet Cat also make some good turbines but not familiar with their smaller ones .
