I love my FS but I would like to improve the experience. Doe anyone have a list of gear needed to go virtual? What's needed?

Re: Virtual

I have a VR setup. Which flight sim are you using? Personally, I didn't like the VR experience with Real Flight at all. Seems really blurry. I feel that AccuRC 2 and neXt work better. They might not have the selection of Real Flight, but being a clear picture, definitely seems a lot more real.

As for equipment I'm using

Oculus Rift S
Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6Ghz 8 core processsor
32GB RAM
Solid state drives
GeForce RTX 2070 Windforce 8GB video card
Windows 10

It definitely feels lot more real than staring at a flat screen. I've been tempted to put a fan beside me for wind LOL.

I love the wind idea! Cheers!

I have Real Flight 9. But quite open to trying another.

Re: Virtual

Ya, I say try RF and see if you like it or not. AccuRC is only about $50USD, neXt which is more helicopter based, but has some planes is about $90USD.
