XL Power Wraithe 760 F3C kit

Well I received my new Wraithe kit a week ago. It will be a few weeks possibly before the bench is open to start the build. I will take the odd picture as I go along with the build. The kit looks very nice. I received it from https://farfast.ca/ located here in Alberta.
I have most everything on hand here except mainblades. Still making up my mind on them, looking at Energy Power EP745ER V2 mains, SAB WCS 730 and Funtech 740 F3C. I bought the kit with canopy, the body photo is a dream that I will likely never do but it sure looks great in it's body.

Co-developed by XLPower and Energy Power,
The ultimate F3C machine! !

Features:

15mm and high rigidity main mast
Main mast bearings are integrated into the top and bottom and do not require centering
Battery replacement is possible from under the aircraft
Phi27 Tail pipe
Gear ratio 10.6: 1: 5.0
500-520KV motor recommended
* Fuselage, Main rotor and tail rotor are not included.

Re: XL Power Wraithe 760 F3C kit

Dennis, I am running Fun-Key Rotor Tech 760 mains and RT Ultimate 106mm tail blades (three blade tail). I highly recommend them. Nice looking kit and body. I also doubt I will ever get to the point of putting mine in an F3C body but it is nice to dream. Take care.

Re: XL Power Wraithe 760 F3C kit

I agree the 760 RT are a great blade, I have run them before and if this was a sport 3D heli they would be choice #1. Basically I just really want to try a F3C specific blade to see what they are like. The heli will have R/T tail blades on it, like every other heli I have.

Why not consider some Rotor Tech RT760 blades.

Re: XL Power Wraithe 760 F3C kit

She is on the bench, very short head block and the grips are all lightened up. You can see there was much design work going into making it light. So far everything fits perfectly.

Some canopy shots, it has a very cool battery tray system I will get some photos of later.

Re: XL Power Wraithe 760 F3C kit

Here are a few Battery tray shots, hard to explain but the battery's come out the bottom without canopy removal as it is designed around a fuselage. The plate goes in and then slides forwards under a few retainers and the the rear clip snaps over its catches to lock it is place. To remove squeeze the rear retainer inwards and slid the tray rearwards and it drops out. The mechanics are together and ready to install the rest of the electronics !
