One of my winter projects. All aluminum, powder coated. 8 ft. X 5 ft. Slide out is 4X8. Also will fit in a 1/3 scale Clipped Wing Cub which I have almost finished.

Re: My new toy hauler

Nice. Can you build me one now?

Just kidding. Lucked out and should be picking my trailer up next weekend.

What do you use for slides on the pull out deck?

Re: My new toy hauler

There is a Z channel on each side the 8 ft ply. Then on the aluminum deck are industrial roller balls ( a ball encased in a bracket) ,about a dozen of them and the ply rides on these balls and is held in place by the Z channel. If you like I can take a photo of the inside.

Re: My new toy hauler

Would appreciate that. Also if possible where you bought the hardware.

I want to build a slide out tray on mine and the standard ply sheet between two guides tends to stick.

Re: My new toy hauler

For those who asked. The rollers for the slide are from Fastenall. Aluminum suppliers are ASA in Toronto and Canada Steel London. The Z channels and outer frames of the 5/8 ply are stainless steel.
