Re: Nitro to electric??

A lot of engine manufacturers have a 90cc equivalent engine. Check with rimfire, amazon, banggood, hobby king, etc.

Re: Nitro to electric??

.90 cc perhaps? Decimal makes a pretty huge difference.

I thought the chart was pretty self explanatory but here it goes

Hacker is saying that if you are currently using a .90 Glow engine and your aircraft weight is between 8 - 13 lbs (that would be including the weight of the battery) they recommend their A60 7XS motor which uses an 8s, 4500 mAh battery swinging a 19"x 10 prop. The motor will draw 85 Amps at full power so best to use a 100 Amp ESC

Here is the motor they are suggesting https://hackermotorusa.com/shop/hack...r-320-rpmvolt/

Here is another chart for RimFire motors:

Hope this helps

Re: Nitro to electric??

And here is a Hacker A60-7XS for you in Canada. It will be power like your TT90 never dreamed of.

Thanks,

Been using brushless motors 10 going on more years and still learning a few things. As been said a brushless motor will blow you socks off as far as torque is concerned.
Where I would start is weight of aircraft , max length of prop you can turn and the type of flying you want to do ie pattern ,scale flying or ?

A brushless motor will develop higher torque throughout its full rpm range were a fuel motor developers its full potential at closer to the top end. Guaranteed you will get arguments on that statement .
Many other helpful links here from others.
