Re: Anybody building while stuck at home?

I started before the outbreak, but I have been working on a Jetmach 44 for my entry into the world of turbines. Just finished covering the fuselage today.

I built my GP Super Stearman with a DLE-20. It flies very scale for a stock Stearman, but not SUPER.

I picked up an RCGF 35 (rear exhaust) and I started the swap last night. The back plate on the 35 is 6 mm further out and of course the holes don't match so I will need to do some finessing.

Re: Anybody building while stuck at home?

I have the GP Waco, basically identical airframe specs as your Stearman, and finally bolted on the OS Gemini 160 twin last night. Keleo exhaust was a bit of a pain, but can't wait to hear how that sounds.

Re: Anybody building while stuck at home?

I ran it with the stock straight pipes and the prop is easily the noisiest so will be interesting to run with the Keleo.

Will try and post some pics later.

Re: Anybody building while stuck at home?

I bought a half built cub ,found one half wing built off original plans, the other half built from photo copy, hence a difference.

Nice colours should show well. Is it a scale paint scheme. Took me a while to find one I liked.

Re: Anybody building while stuck at home?

I found a pic on the net with simple colors that I had in stock. One pic has the photo that I copied (sort of)
