Agreed. However, in the places with prov. tax, it is a $100 savings at $400. You have no prov. tax, so your savings is only $61. I agree, for $60 difference I would likely buy new.

I thought OS engines are at the top of the quality tree?

OS is now made in China. OS used to use premium bearings, but not anymore.
Plus a lot of different engine manufacturers still use a true ABC engine which OS hasn't done in years. Cheers Floyd

True about the tax.

I've read that OS moved to China in 2013. But it could have been sooner.
Were both engine boxes the same? Were both engines packed the same? I don't think it makes a difference. I run engines from China without any issues. Cheers Floyd

Just verified, both engines are made in Japan, with the black picture boxes.
Another piece of education, thanks.

If I had those two FS95v I would get myself a Phoenix Model A26. That would be an awesome twin. As far as selling glow engine I still have never sold one. I still own a FS120SE from 1994 that I use every summer since 2003 . Since 2002 I have accumulated 3 OS FS120SE, 1 Saito 125, 1 OS FS120 III with pump, 2 OS 95AX, 2 OS 55AX, 1 OS61fx.

The 62-v and the 95-v both have steel liners, no chrome or fake chrome. Both are fine engines.
