So I'm getting the deviator jet I'm going to need a list of supplies to get to prepare me for owning this jet. Will need a programming box to set up the turbine with my spektrum ix 12 and a 9 channel reciever. I need to set up a fuel device to pump fuel into the tank also keeping this affordable don't want to spend on the most expensive stuff. I know where to get fuel and I know it needs propane to start it that's taken care of batteries are covered. I'm going to need wing cover bags where do I get those? Can I store this jet inside my shed which is insulated but not heated in the winter? I know the turbine will need a rebuild in the next 2 years. I am excited to join the turbine community will I get all the help I need? Hopefully nothing goes wrong. I need to know a lot of information.

Not sure what you mean by a programming box to setup the turbine to your Spektrum radio ?. Usually all that is needed is the turbine manual
And follow the instructions on the turbine GSU so the ECU can learn the throttle and cutoff settings. Ensure that you get the correct GSU included with the turbine you plan to buy and ensure all necessary parts ar included. As for rebuilding , ensure the turbine brand is still in business and that parts are available. If buying an orphan , that could be frustrating and expensive down the road if it has to be replaced.

An inexpensive fuel pump to fuel the turbine fuel tank ,is any hand crank fuel pump that is rated for gasoline will be compatable for kerosene also.
Rather than be general about what your plans are , it’s best to be specific as to what you plan on using , then you can get better information.
I would highly recommend connecting up with a local person who flies jets to direct you with the correct installation information.

I’ve stored my jets since 2002 in an unheated building (shed or storage building) without issue. I put a plastic bag over the turbine to keep out dust and dirt. They’ve always started up fine the following summer. Just make sure it’s dry. I store all my models like this - turbines and everything else. Just remove any LIpo batteries as they aren’t to be kept in frozen conditions.
