Re: SAB Avio Drake Jet build thread

Does the big retract box run the brakes? It looks like it does, but another smaller PC board that I know runs the brakes came with them.... Hoping I can just use big box...

Re: SAB Avio Drake Jet build thread

Today I finished the weight and balance. It took 280 grams of lead in the nose to balance.

The finished weight with UAT full is pretty good for an airplane this size.

Re: SAB Avio Drake Jet build thread

I had three successful flights on the jet. It really flies great and handles cross winds better than most jets. It flies fast but lands really slow.

I will post it for sale so I can move on.

Thanks for following this post.

Re: SAB Avio Drake Jet build thread

I had a few questions about the gear doors. Mine stay open when the gear is down, no issues with doors fluttering.

Have you done anything so that we get to know you as a true modeler and not somebody who is just to get access to posting items for sale to scam somebody? That's the purpose of the 25 posts, that we get to know you and unfortunately, the only thing we were able to learn so far is that you are post padding.
