I'm new to the area of brantford ontario. I know there are a couple of skate parks here. Im curious if there are any really awesome places in brantford or surrounding area that is a gem to take your truck out for a rip.

Re: Skate park, trail, open area for bashing

Hi, I'm not far along in Ancaster, also looking for areas to bash, what did you find?

There is a good skate park in Hamilton we go to, and Gage park is ok, as well as some of the local baseball diamonds can be good for loose surface..

All I've noticed is gage park. There is a killer bike park in brantford. If people ate biking on it though, they usually don't want you on with your truck. It's worth looking up though!

Oh cool thanks, is that the one near the river? Is it open all year round?

It is the one near the river. I'm not certain what you are driving but some jumps are massive. There are other lines you can take to make it less aggressive or just drive a little slower lol. I know that seems impossible for myself. I haven't really got a good truck for huge jumps. Im running a redcat caldera 4x4. It sits lower than I wanted. I'm working on a 2wd ecx that should take jumps better but mighty be more difficult for me to control.

Thanks I'm going to check it out soon.
I'm driving a highly upgraded Rustler but its a proper basher so I throw it over every jump going and see what happens

No, I like 2WD for the handling its an old school XL-5, that's now running 3S, SW4, Castle 2200kv and pretty much just the tub from the original car lol

Nice. Im swapping a 15t for a 3800kv in my 2wd ecx ruckus. The motor has a 5mm shaft where the old one was 3.18 or something like that so I need a pinion gear that will fit it. Im not sure how the caldera would fair with the big jumps but I did run it 4 feet up a tree trunk and it flipped and landed fine so I might use it until I get the ruckus up and running. Chris's house on concession should have what I need!

Nice, yeah Chris's house is cool although I tend to go to Skycraft in Burlington as its easier to get to for me.
