Want to buy (WTB) any quantity of Solartex light yellow color to finish a project, this used to be carried by Balsa USA and no more available from them as Solartex in England closed
a 2 meters roll would be enough or else, left over from a roll is also okay pls advise price including shipping

Re: WTB Solartex

An alternative to Solartex ins Ceconite fabric (the fabric used on real airplanes) BUT it will need to be primed and painted. iIs available from Aircraft Spruce. Here is a link:

https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catal...itefabric2.php

I have a 1/3 scale Balsa USA Supercub covered in this fabric. Its strong/light weight and can be glue you your airframe with regular white glue. Once glue has dried you can heat shrink it, then paint it. It sounds like a lot of work but if you can't find yellow solartex, this maybe an option for you.

Re: WTB Solartex

Thanks a lot for the info LATITUDE but I'm familiar with Ceconite as I used to recover full size aircrafts with Ceconite and Randolph dope in the past, I'm in no hurry someone must have some left over from a roll somewhere will wait. Thanks again

Re: WTB Solartex

Give the staff at Dynamic Balsa a call, when I orderd my rib stitching (pink-it) from them in the spring, they had a large inventory on hand, as they purchased a lot of Solofilm when it was going out of business.
