Re: Field opening, What signal

In Ontario it'll be awhile longer.

https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/200104

Its pretty cut and dry, read it then read section (2) as to where it applies.

Re: Field opening, What signal

Let's just be patient.

Society's current generation of leadership has not truly experienced famine, disease, or a major war. Today's leadership style also tends to be risk adverse.

Our leaders are doing their best with what their limited experience and training will allow.

Let's guide them with common sense when we can; and support the community effort to protect the vulnerable such as us old RC hobbyists.

"Don't assume malice until you rule out all forms of incompetence"

Thanks,
Mark

Re: Field opening, What signal

People should read the document in it's entirety, it's an all encompasing order that's explained in the section below.

The operative words are "All", in documents like these, it's better to make a blanket statement and deal with exceptions than to list things out individually for fear of missing one category.

For clarity, I've bolded some words.

Hope this helps...

BTW, no one is stopping you from going, but if you encounter a bylaw officer that's not pleasant, you can also expect a fine equal to what was given to the person that did the stupid stuff on the bloom cam.. LOL

You're in Nova Scotia, this does not apply to you. You should actually ignore this since its province specific.

Its best not to censor, its your choice what you want to do in your region, as a matter of fact, anyone can choose what they want to do regardless of region. This is why this is such a great country.

Re: Field opening, What signal

Agree with JoeT on this one . Has some good comments . It’s better to work with agencies than against as we have found out from the past few years. Working against has created this mess of regulations we have today . Like how many years has this hobby pretty much been left alone to regulate itself until more recent with the advent of the thinkers and doers that “ I will do what I want attitude “ .
By bucking the system , only gets it more regulated .
The way I see it , anyways.
