Re: Futaba Conquest Transmitter Battery Cover

I scrapped a couple of those. Likely a cover somewhere. It will be a long 6 weeks though, before back home from work to look.

Re: Futaba Conquest Transmitter Battery Cover

I have several older Futaba transmitters, including a T5UAF, (not sure if compatible) that is module based and has a flip up cover with ATV/DR pots and reversing switches on the front. This is NOT the newer 1024 UAP labeled version.

Only pic I could find quickly:

Can you measure width and height and post a pic of the transmitter back side?

Re: Futaba Conquest Transmitter Battery Cover

O/K. Mine is slightly smaller with a curved bottom so likely would not fit.

Have you considered replacing your current system with newer 2.4 ? Reason I ask is that those radios ( not brand specific) have circuitry in them that can go out of tune between the transmitter and receiver . Yes they may work but the range can be affected ( shortened) .
And then being that old , the batteries may need replacing ....just not worth the effort and money.

Eventually I will upgrade, just flying trainers on my farm for now. Will use them for boats in the pond some day.
Thanks for the advice

I just came across your post, did you find a cover? I have a skyport 4 with a battery pack.

Re: Futaba Conquest Transmitter Battery Cover

I've got a couple of the Skysport 4 transmitters that only get used for buddy boxes with the older Futaba radios. I can send you a cover from one of these. Is your transmitter black or silver?
Note - also have an Attack 4, but that has a different cover.
You can PM me address details, but you should also send a pic of the transmitter, so I know I've got the same version.

Derek
