any suggestions on what paint I can use to repaint some old foam EDF planes I have

I can either brush it on or maybe spray. Need to change the grey airplane to something like red and white so I can see it

Sucks to get old

Re: paint for foam airplanes

I have been using the Dollarama poster paints. So many colours and you can mix-and-match them to suit your needs. Find them in the craft section, there is a large rack with all kinds of them. Even the silver paints on pretty good.

Re: paint for foam airplanes

I agree with Max, only recently discover them. Thin them down with a 50/50 mixture of rubbing alcohol and water so you can spray them in your airbrush. Also, if you want custom warbirds colours and have a sample of the colour, go to Home Depot and have it scanned. They have tester bottles for under $5.00 that they will custom mix any colour for you. It's latex so you can brush it on or thin it out and spray it on.

If you are looking for a really bright red, check out Flirt Alert under the their Behr brand, really stands out in the sky.

And yeah, getting older sucks ....

Picture looks great!

How does it hold up to scuffing or light scratches?

Re: paint for foam airplanes

I also used Tamaya safely, though many recommend keeping a 30cm distance when spraying
